A pesar del 5-1 contra Alemania, Xan de Waard reveló que hay cosas para corregir

La mejor jugadora del mundo, en una entrevista exclusiva con el sitio El observador, contó que el resultado no era indicador de nada sino más tenían situaciones de juego que mejorar. Está en inglés por ser el idioma puente entre su país y el nuestro.

de Waard debutó con la selección neerlandesa en 2012. Tuvo su debut olímpico en Río 2016, donde ganó la medalla de plata. En Tokio 2020 ganó la medalla de oro, al derrotar a Argentina en la final. En París 2024 consiguió su segunda medalla dorada al vencer a China en la final.
